Review by hotel critic
Nestled on a hillside overlooking Levanto, L'Antico Borgo B&B offers a serene retreat with a fascinating blend of rustic charm and modern hospitality. The picturesque terrace, where breakfast is served, provides a stunning view of the sea and surrounding landscape, creating a perfect setting for a relaxed morning meal. The room, though clean and well-equipped, lacks some modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and minibar. The authenticity of the building adds character, but comes with the trade-off of steep stairs and limited parking, which may inconvenience some guests. The staff's attention to detail and friendly demeanor enhance the overall experience, making up for the minor inconveniences. While the peaceful location and personalized service contribute to a luxurious feel, the lack of certain amenities and the relatively high pricing compared to nearby options may leave some guests questioning the overall value. For those seeking a unique and tranquil retreat, this charming B&B offers an authentic Italian experience, albeit at a premium.
